15 Minutes Law Literacy: Restorative Justice – Tajam ke atas Humanis ke Bawah
Restoratif Justice (RJ) adalah konsep baru yang diperkenalkan di kejaksaan Republik Indonesia. Pada 15 Minutes Law Literacy ini, mendiskusikan mengenai Proses RJ, yang sangat mirip dengan mediasi dimana jaksa bertugas untuk memfasilitasi kesepakatan damai antara pelaku dan korban. Bila terjadi kesepakatan damai, maka proses penuntutan dapat diberhentikan.
Tapi tidak semua perkara dapat menepuh RJ, ada syarat-syarat yang perlu dipenuhi sebagaimana tertuang dalam Peraturan Jaksa Agung No. 15 Tahun 2020 tentang Penghentian Perkara melalui Keadilan Restoratif. RJ menjadi menarik karena berlaku di ranah pidana. Penasaran? Yuk simak videonya!

Restorative Justice (RJ) is a new concept introduced by Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia. RJ’s process is similar to a mediation process where the prosecutor in charge acts as a mediator to facilitate peace between the suspect and the victim. So, when a parties have reach peace, the prosecutor may stop any indictment process.
However, not all case can be solves through RJ, only those specifies under Attorney General of Indonesia Regulation Number 15 Year 2000 on Dismissal of Case through Restorative Justice. Even more intriguing, RJ only applies to criminal cases. Check out the video to learn more!
