Carolus Rudy Pinem, S.H.

Carolus Rudy Pinem is a dedicated advocate for Social Justice and Development, with over 20 years of diverse work experience in program management, development, and review. Currently, he serves as the Grievance Manager at Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) in Indonesia.

Rudy completed his studies at Gadjah Mada University's Faculty of Law, where he earned his law degree. He is licensed as an Advocate by PERADI, and he recently obtained certification as a Mediator from the PMN (Indonesia Mediation Center). Rudy has been acknowledged as a Partner at Lex Luminis Law Firm, a thriving law office located in Jakarta. Additionally, Rudy has been recognized as a Climate Reality Leader and awarded the green ring pin by the Climate Reality Project, founded by the former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.

Rudy possesses a wide range of expertise in various areas, including sustainability, grievance mechanisms, mediation, conflict resolution, alternative dispute resolution, business and human rights, social justice, public policy, legal and compliance matters, land acquisition, advocacy, child rights and protections, emergency response, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, learning and knowledge management, as well as monitoring and evaluation.
